A Foxy Piece of Ass

Sorry but this most likely won't be what you expected. Once again WalMart provides fodder for bloggers. WalMart in China sells donkey meat which apparently is popular in certain areas of China. One of their suppliers Dezhou Fujude Food Company Limited has produced and provided WalMart China and other distributors donkey meat containing fox DNA. It would seem that in some areas of China you could be served a dish and say: "This tastes like ass." while simultaneously being complimentary and correct. Makes you wonder when they butcher donkey is it like every other animal, nothing goes to waste. It raises the question of donkey anus. Could you be served ass asshole? How do you ask that of your server at a diner? It must all be in the intonation. Is this ass, asshole?

The problem here seems to be twofold as we move beyond the ass jokes. WalMart prides itself on low prices. There are a couple of ways to accomplish this and they use both rather brutally. First, pay your help as little as possible and do not pay any benefits that are not required by law or demanded by the public. The second thing they do very effectively is negociate the lowest possible price from suppliers. The question they pose to suppliers is: Would you rather have a profit of 10% on a million dollars or a profit of 20% on a half million dollars? Suppliers cut their margins so thin so they can tell everyone they are working with the number one retailer in the world. The results can be seen in what happened above. You cheat and adulterate, use substandard product, cut quality corners so you don't lose money.

Mike, you decision to avoid WalMart is right and well thought out. If you want to read a bit more just google WalMart recalls donkey meat in China. My refusal extends beyond WalMart. We purchase no food items which indicates it was produced or  processed in China. Lily and Teddi are fed dog food and treats that indicate they are made in the United States. My advice to each of you is to take time and read the labels. If not you could end up getting a foxy piece of ass.
